Gentian (Gentiana Lutea) is traditionally used as a digestive bitter tonic. Gentian may also be used for pelvic inflammatory diseases, venereal diseases, hepatitis, jaundice, and most liver disorders, headaches and constipation. We extract with the appropriate solvents, high alcohol if necessary; then concentrate by vacuum distillation.
